I’m Jeyashree Haridoss (she/her), an India-born immigrant to... I hope, a lot of places. My curiosity about cultures and languages has taken me to distinct corners of the world.I like to say, “I carry ‘home’ in my heart.” Home is the love I have for family and friends — it’s with me wherever I go. Feeling connected to my roots and loved ones gives me the confidence to go as far as my feet and passport will take me, for as long as I can.This usually looks like spending around six months in a new country as a home base — building and contributing to community while exploring nearby regions. The insights I gain from this more connected, emotionally grounded style of travel have taught me so much about people, places, and myself.I also challenge myself — physically and mentally — to try new activities and explore in thrilling new ways (hello, bike touring).
